Motherhood isn’t a typical love story, motherhood is the raw unedited version, with all the out-takes, which is what makes it the most beautiful love story of all.

A woman holding a newborn baby on her chest in a hospital bed. She has been supported by a birth and postnatal doula in Bath.

For the mother who is looking to be nurtured, seen and tended to.

You’ve just birthed your baby. You are in need of deep rest, healing, nourishment and unconditional love. In a culture that asks for productivity and action, it can feel revolutionary to take radical rest. I am here to enable rest and care whether that’s in the first few days after giving birth, or months into motherhood.

I offer 1-2-1 postnatal support rooted in the five universal postpartum needs; contact with nature, presence of wise women, loving touch, nourishing food and extended rest period. I am led by you and your needs but always grounded in my desire to ease you gently into motherhood. I tend to you first, before baby or partner or older siblings. You, as mother, are the centre of my care. What would it feel like to prioritise you, for the mother to be held?

I offer the below packages of hours. These might include:

  • Unlimited WhatsApp support

  • Cooking meals for you based on Traditional Chinese Medicine

  • Breathwork and deep relaxation offerings

  • Restorative yoga (once your body feels ready)

  • Feeding support

  • Dedicated time to process your birth experience

  • Signposting local support groups/services/referrals

  • Light household chores

  • Looking after older siblings while you connect with baby
